The Pre-Vet Project is an Official Organization at Azusa Pacific University that guides and leads pre-veterinary students in gaining experience, learning veterinary school requirements, connecting with other pre-veterinary students, and serving animals in our community that are in rehabilitation! You learn about veterinary medicine (monitoring heart/respiratory rates, vaccinating, microchipping, administering medications, etc.) You are also provided with many volunteer opportunities including helping at local animal shelters, pop-up clinics, and adoption events! You are also offered shadowing opportunities and letters of recommendation from Veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians. Our goal is to better the future of veterinary medicine, help find forever homes for rescued animals, and pursue our dreams of contributing to the future of veterinary medicine.
