Hands-on Volunteer Experience working with animals at VIDA Rescue. Learn about veterinary medicine (administering medications, microchipping, vaccinating, monitoring heart/respiratory rates, etc..) Includes volunteering at adoption events, pop-up clinics, shadowing opportunities, & more!
Leadership & Connection
Connect with other pre-veterinary students, gain guidance from professionals, and become a leader in your community helping animals in need and making a difference in animal care/the future of veterinary medicine.
Guidance & Prep for Veterinary School
Learn about requirements for veterinary school, gain required hands-on volunteer experience with animals, obtain letters of recommendation from Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians

The Pre-Vet Project aims to guide pre-veterinary students during their journey of pursuing careers in veterinary medicine while building the future of animal care and healthcare in vet med. We strive to become leaders, help animals in rehabilitation, and support local animal rescues. The Pre-Vet Project’s goal is to guide, lead, and support future veterinarians and animals in need.
